some people I have heard argue that the internals of the 04 are better because they are newer.. any truth to that?

The Imagine is just as good as any other Imagine. The Imagine was Kingmans best selling e-marker.

All the imagines have different thigns on them.

The Imagine has no drop, its just an electro with the same internals as a spyder xtra w/o the rear cocking mechanism.

The Imagine Select is a reg imagine with Vizion cocking I think its the same as the regular imagine. It has a drop foward and some dinky little things on it which raise the price higher at a stupid cost.

The Imagine 04, yes it has better milling, it has a little more advanced internals, but it still has the venturi crap bolt and striker. NOTHING considerably better. Also it has 6 led's now instead of 3 leds I guess for better battery wasteage.

Get the Regular Imagine, don't get it from Wal-Mart or it will not have Full-Auto. Get it offline or at a pro shop. It's just as good as any other spyder and easy to maintain.
