1. Yes, pull the bolt back. or at least i'm pretty sure that's correct for a TES
2. Just shoot with no gas in the system.
3. Use a chronograph.

cocking the bolt is pulling it back
to uncock it, like he said, shoot without air
if you want to measure your velocity, go to a chrono station, turn it on, and take a few shots

yes pull it back
shoot with no air or put your finger in the feedneck and stop it with that JK JK JK JK JK (this will result in broken finger)
i doubt you own a chrono graph so go to your local feild or prop shop and ask them to adjust the velocity

1. Pull back bolt to cock.
2. Unscrew tank while firing to un cock.
3. Go to a field and use their chronograph. They will have you use it anyways, but you can buy your own chrono. You may have to have someoen cut your springs if they are shooting too hot, that's what happened to my gun.

wow four guys answered the same question

If you cock it and shoot it with no air, then it wouldnt uncock because of the ACE... right? I may be wrong, have touched a tes in along time 0?

^i guess you can say that, you put the tip of the barrel on a certain spot and shoot, this then shows you how fast the ball is traveling, just rember shoot at least three times before adjusting it, there not very accurate. and no chronos are speciffacly made for paintball

Well i will play with my bro and I don't want to have an extreme fast speed and hurt him too bad. Will a paintball store that doesn't have a field (just a paintball store), be able to measure it for me?

Usually when I play woodsball, we shoot trees. If bark comes off and it's a healthy tree, you're shooting hot.
