The highers the numbers the bigger the tank, do not buy a tank from 3a paintball they suck even though they are cheap.

First, look in the air systems forum. Second, the first number is ci [cubic inches] and the second is psi [lbs. per square inch]. Generally, you will get about 10x the shots of your ci with a 3000 psi tank. So if you have a 68/3000, you will get about 680 shots. Same goes for 4500 except you will get about 15 shots.
Thirdly, look for fiber wrapped tanks, they are the highest quality.
Fourthly, stay away from 3a tanks, especially old ones.
good luck.

Steel tanks are heavy. Carbon fiber wrapped is lighter and stronger. Dont get anything less then 45/4500. A 45/3K will only last maybe one or two games.
