Almost everytime i play paintball my Spyder Xtra starts shooting very fast but no balls come out. Could you tell me why this keeps happening?

does it sort of sputter?

if so, screw your c02 in more, and refill your tank if it is low. It happens all the time on my friends imagine.

do you have an electronic hopper? if not it could be your outshooting your gravity hopper.... id recomend a VL 12V revvy or an Empire Reloader

it sputters like roob said, check your o-rings and oil them. oil always helps

yes the tank is probably low cuz like when you run outta co2 itll make a noise kind like a machine gun. If thats what is happening it should shoot still does it?

i have and xtra, turn the velocity down, does it fires sometimes when your not shooting? mine did and it was the velocity

Tank is very low.

This happened to my friend's aggressor right after he filled his tank and it was the cup seal. So if you fill your tank and it still sputters check the cup seal.

dont only check if the tank is low, check the O-ring around the c02 tank, make sure its not broken or loose or anything because then that could spring up a leakage. Also if your C02 is running low, its good to get a gauge to see how much psi you have left in teh tank, it helps a lot during game play.
