HEY im kinda new to the sport iv been like five times. Although it may seem rong im looking to buy a gun and jup strait into tournament play as a front man im looking to spend about 400 450 tops on a gun,just the gun. If you have any ideas on the gun i should get for the price turny play and frntman psitin any infrmatin would be awsome!c ya later.

alright brock. here is your problem you started in the forum and didn't look around first. If you had spent maybe 30 minutes surfing around on this site all of your questions would have been answered. On the top of each section is a thing called a sticky. Mainly in the new player section. There is tons of information on the top of each section that answeres your questions. Then you are saying you want to spend about 400+ bucks on the gun...so of all the places you could put this..why would you ask in the rate my gun section for guns 1-350 it has little to do with what you want.

Im going to move this to the new player section where there are alot of people who can help you out.

An idea if you are going to post another question. Look over each of the sections.
there is an angel section a matrix section autococker section. For almost every gun you could want there is a section where people talk exclusivly about that kind of gun. So if you need to know about an autococker you just go to the section and ask.

There is also a section for all your gas needs masks and barrels. All you have to do is scan the forum and you can be helped ALOT faster and easier.

There is also a search button on the top right hand of the screen that makes it so you can search our data base for info about any gun.

My suggestion is this. First read the stickies then look through the gun sections seeing what is in your price range and what you like. Then ask specific questions about the gun in that section. There is a verses section or GUN COMPARISON where you can ask which of two guns is better for you. Then search on new info you might need.

heh way to big for sigs. I want to punish people so badly when they do that but its out of ignorance not breaking the rules. hopefully now he buys a great gun...learns how to use it like his right hand with lube and then sticks around and helps out later....

C'mon guys, he didn't know. You have a VERY good selection. I'd recommend the following: Spyder Fenix, Piranha E-Force, or a Tippman A-5. Those guns have a large selection of add-ons to choose from. You also might want to check out Angel, but having never shot one of those, I don't know what they're like.

well if he is up to spending 450 on the gun alone he can get into even higher catagories than that. For example indian creek designs BKO or many types of angel lcds. The autococker is a legend but electros are taking over. I have seen e cockers for 450 but don't hold your breath. The smart parts impulse is also a great gun that will bring you up to the same technology as other tournement players.

Your going to get very biast answers when you ask people on there preferance of impulse or bushmaster. (impulse users like impys, bushmaster users like bushys). My advise is go to your local feild, meet some people who own the guns (or your friends if they own one) and try them out yourself. Find out wich you think suits you better, things you should look at is.

Weight-(could vary on what you want back players it doesent really matter but fronts usually prefer lighter guns for faster running speeds)

Accuracy-Accuracy depends all on barrel to paint match, but if your not going to upgrade the stock barrel i would look at this.

Speed-How fast can you pull the trigger? is one eisier to walk/shoot than the other?

Consistancy- does the ball go to the same spot everytime? does your fps jump?

Size/looks-do you like how large the marker is? or is it too tall/wide for you? do you like how it looks?

Reliability-Is this perticular marker prone to problems? ppppppp

Air Usage-How many shots do you get out of your tank?

Upgradable options-How far can you customize the marker to your wants?

these and whatever else you feel like suits you will help you decide on what marker to chose. Myself, i did this with and impulse and a bushmaster and i felt that the impulse fit what i wanted more than the bushmaster did, but it may be different for you.

From what i have heard (never used) they are highly unreliable, your best bet would be either bushmaster or impulse.

Just need to check them all out best you can unless you:

(a) want a gun because so many thought it cool from hype
(b) want a gun because others found it to be the right gun for them but is not comfortable to you

Chances are slim of you getting a marker that you are comfortable with, deciding from what others say they like . Go to a field like suggested above and ask to check out others markers, most are happy to show and tell.
Go to the the local paitball shop and check some out.

No, TES would be an electro buddy.

this is my unbiased opinion.I think you should get the BKO because impulses use up air faster than the BKO plus BKO's are fast and reliable.Impys are fast and good and all but if I were to choose I would get the BKO.But it's your choice.
