There isn't really a set time before you become a non newb. Just play paintball. If you play it alot you won't be a newb anymore.

It helps not to make posts about sniping too though.

To not be noob u have to not ask noob questions or do stupid noob things. Also know that there are no snipers like what was said earlier and to be very knowledgable of ur gun and of the game.

seriously tho.....there is sniping, to an extent (in woods ball). some of you should really read the definition of sniping. however there isnt any sniping in speedball. flame me if you want, it wont bother me or change my position on the matter.

as far as being a noob, well...one day, without you knowing when, you'll just not be one anymore. its called experience, and the only way to get it is to go play.

when you go the field, and you know you know more than most people there, and know you can outball most of them, then your not a noob

pretty much you stop being a newb when you have a basic understanding of all paintball ideals...why things are the way they are...and when you can put your basic technical info into use on the field and are a basically good player than you aren't a newb. its nothing you can fake and if you try to skip your newbhood then later in your balling carreer things won't be good. its like being a child star..you miss your childhood and stuff goes all wrong

so heres the deal...ebrase your newb time. ask questions. never feel bad about asking. sure theres members who will call you a newb don't worry about it. theres guys online who feel the need to up there ecoolness...for example up top is chromekilla and he has helped people in the past but he feels like a topdog now...so that means that if you ask a bunch of newb questions he will just act like your a newb. theres other members then that just don't care....they help out and don't care about your image and junk cause we all know that its just a game so prettending to be a bad ass long term player that can school anyone who lives far enough away not to come play just isn't cool. when you fake being cool it comes out later. you can't help out because you never asked in the first place. the problem today is that tons of people are all trying to seem like vets when they aren't...so newbs aren't comfortable with being newbs.

if you know your a newb and are not cool with asking around...just ask me ill help out. or turn you over to another person who knows more about your question that will help out.

its not some arrogant that i said, its the truth, youl know when your no longer a noob, so if you have to ask, chances are that you are one, but im not saying it like its a bad thing. i was a noob, and i asked many noob questions, and thats how i got my pb smarts

when u notic ur getting better at pb, u can take apart pretty much any gun(lower leave gun) and know how to put it back togther and it will still work ummm when u start getting kills and when ur the one answering the Q's.
