Leaving your co2 tank on your gun .

Is leaving a co2 tank in your gun for a long period of time bad for it? If so why?

Yes, constant pressure on your gun is BAD, it will ruin your O-rings. Get a On/Off switch if you want to leave it on.

Also, it will leak. VERY VERY slowly, but if you leave a tank in a gun for a year, I'll bet when you come back its empty.

also, there is a danger hazard.....but only for the ignorant and accident prone.....it is possible to break the tank off. especially dont travel in a vehicle or whatever with it screwed in.

Are you going to be leaving your tank on for long periods of time that you know of? Just take the tank off before you do..

You just need to screw it on. It will allow you to leave your tank on longer than normal, but its better to take the tank off. The valve will help with that too, by keeping the CO2 from coming out when you unscrew it from the gun. Its worth the money to buy it.

Even with the on/off, you shouldnt leave it in the gun for a long time, its not very hard to unscrew it, it will only take like 5 seconds

all you have to do is watch the silver thing between the co2 tank and the gun and if the tank is spinning and that isnt then if you keep unscrewing it the tank will fly off if yo7u have that problem just screw the tank in and take it to your local gun store/repair shop
