Dont be scared of "pro looking players"
A little advice for noobs(kinda like me). I fould myself and my friends seeing these guys with jerseys and expensive guns and we thought they were gonna kill us and we had no change. Its not always true, sometimes they would just be "all show no go" So dont back down. Im not saying there all like that some are really good. Also dont be fooled by people that dont look good and have crapy guns, they just might blow u away! Just thought id share that with u guys.

you have a very good point, just because a kid has a jersey, or a nice gun doesnt mean he's got skill. ive seen countless lids decked out in dye gear with a brand new cocker or imp and yet have no clue as you how to play.
but then again, even if a person with a jersey doesnt have alot of skill, jersys can be very intimidating to a first time player, i know i automaticly assumed that people with jerseys wer better my first time playing at a field

Thats right the first time when i look at sum1 with a jersey and say(omfg were gonna get pwned) 50% of the time pro looking players are just players that think that can play.The second time i went pballing this guy that was suppose to be a pro suck nuts hard... he had a 1500 dollar setup and he was always the frist to get out.I have a jersey but i do not buy it to intimidate other people to think im a pro..... i just bought it cuz it looked good and it was a sale.

Have no fear of any player. Looks are just that, nothing more. Big expensive flashy popular guns are set at or below 300 fps just like all the rest and the accuracy for a properly setup and maintained marker isn't so much different as well. Apparel is just apparel, some is flashier, safer and/or more comfortable. And the bragging......well to me it is just someone asking everyone to shoot at him first. 
I once saw a duded bragger with a Bob Long marker fire a heck of a burst at a bunker only to be hit the next instant by one shot from the guy in the bunker with a Victor.

i remember some kid on the forum awhile back who had gear more expensive then his gun so "they would always pick me first cause i looked good" or something like that.

I have alot of gear. haha. Just because it was for my Bday. Jeeze sorry. 100$ and i got a jersey and pants and im not that great. LoL. I feel gay tho wearing all of that stuff then a spyder. But with my shockteck b2k2 I will pwn.

dude... i only wear a spyder jersey, and yet i pwn most of the people that go to my field... even if you dont have the equipment that pepole have doesnt mean that you cant pwn... even though now i have a freak jersey and proto pants...

i make a point to go play with jeans and a tshirt when i go play....
but since i was given jt pants and gloves for free, and a dye jersey a few years back from the same guy, i just wear it all cuz its more comfy.
i look like a pro player, but i sure dont play like one
