the problem with barrel plugs is that they dont fit all barrels. a barrel condom slips over the barrel and will fit any barrel. a plug can be loose in some barrels or it wont fit in others.

i use a plug but only cause im broke... my plug doesnt even work if i shoot the gun with it in it just shoots out the end...

Most plugs have this problem which is why condoms are becoming manditory at most fields. While a plug might protect against one shot, (which was usually all you had to worry about in the mechanical trigger days) newer guns are easily capable of firing 2 or many more because of the sensitive trigger. Condoms are better at containing all of these.

usually if you shoot into a plug, the first ball will break and the plug will fall or shoot out, so if another ball shoots out its not protected

Condom defenatly. Plugs run the risk of flying off.

I completely agree. I let my friend hold my Matrix once when I had to fill my tank (big mistake) and it blocked 5 balls that he shot when he thought the safety was on. If I had had a plug in there, 4 balls would be in the air in the safe zone.

U want a condom because if u have a plug and accidentally shoot ur gun more than one shot, the first shot will shoot the plug off while the other shots will go out and hit somebody or something. While a condom will hold more than one shot, thus it is more statiscally safer. So basically what javaman said is the same thing i am saying. Plus condoms are good for protecting urself from STD's too.
