Help Help

Hi, i am new to these forums and new to paintball. I have a spyder special edition and a question concerning it. If someone can help me out and answer my question here or on AIM: nsupra13 it will be gladyly appreciated.

Question. I noticed that my paintballs dont roll into the gun freely and i can't figure out why. When i shoot sometimes i shoot a ball or 2 then air, the ball doesnt seem to fall in place. Whoever knows the special edition pretty good probably knows how there is a little knob near the hole that is twistable my best guess is that it has something to do with that.

maybe you should get an electric hopper. it could be the balls are getting stuck in the feed tube

Detent problems? Near the feedneck there should be a small piece held onto the frame by a screw.. Unscrew it and see if the clear piece inside it looks like a titty. It shouldn't have any nicks on it or anything. That oculd be why your double feeding.

Does this only happen when you fire quickly? If so an electric hopper should help. Otherwise make sure not to pack PBs tight into standard hoppers. It makes it harder for them to feed causing misfires. Usually the kick from the gun and the little blast of air from the blowback helps unjam it but sometimes you need to shake the gun.

The best thing to do would be getting an electronic feeder. You can get them for about $30.00.

yea, i was considering that. Should i get a straight elbow instead of using this curved elbow? Also i here that the Halo-b hoppers are the best, but really expensive is it really necessary for me since my gun isnt a automatic

Go with an empire reloder, it's like a 12v revvy, but sound activated.

The feed neck usually isn't a problem so I wouldn't worry about swapping that out. Usually it's 2 PBs trying to move into the narrowing hopper neck that causes the jam.

It could be the size of your paintballs or you can always try a drop of oil. Try getting smaller paintballs or some sizes smaller. If those don't work then go for a $30 electronic hopper which can feed up to 8 bps. Or if you want a faster hopper then get a $80 electronic hopper which can feed up tp 12 bps.

~~~Glad To Help~~~
Well u prolly need to get an electric hopper, because ur gravity hopper is not cuttin it. An e-hopper will eliminate the double and dry firing. Also ur ball detent might be messed up. PM kingfikielectra, he can help you with all ur spyder needs, and he is noob friendly.
