[Noob Paintballr]

I've played paintball acouple times now. I really enjoy playing and i always have a good time. I was wondering if i should stick with my Tippman 98 Custom and upgrade, or buy a new gun. Please give me a good idea for a secong gun thats not 2 expensive.

new hopper and hpa then get a used evo or bko

i think u should stick with the tippmann while u get a hopper and hpa, then get a electro or a high end blowback if u dont have that kind of money

matters what you play?? woodsball i would just stick with the tippy.. speedball maybe a electro spyder or a BKO..

Do you plan on upgrading to another marker later on and ditching the 98? If so don't bother putting upgrades on that cant be used on another marker.

Safe upgrades:
- HPA
- Hopper

A Barrel is a good choice as well, get something nice

Get HPA and a hopper, like Headley suggested. Those are things you can use on any gun. Your ultimate goal should be to get a better gun, not to upgrade yours. Paintball isn't liek cars. You can't just take a 1987 ****box buic and put a nice engine and stuff in it. There is a limit to how fast your marker will shoot.

Ya if your wanting to get into the tourney scene, then get a different gun. I would suggest a bushmaster b2k4, they are nice. Stay away from Impulses because when you buy them for the cheap price that they are, you will have to put so much upgrades and extra crap on it just to make it work nice! but seriously, ide save up and get a new gun.

id get HPA and an agitated hopper(either a revvy or egg) and then save up for an impulse which is much nicer then a b2k4.

I plan on getting a better marker down the road and upgrading that. I dnt wanna put that much money into the tippman if i'm gunna get a new gun in a little while.

what is your budget. all of us are simply assuming since all youve said is that your getting a job. If your budget is $800 the suggestions are gonna be much different.

another alternative to an impulse is to save up a bit more and buy a used matrix
