Woodsball Tips for Noobs
Deleted other thread, bad wording of title caused to get ridiculed so here it is again.
Now this is for noobs, by a noob, and I think they're better learning these from a noob so they wont make the same mistakes i've made.
1)Don't get seperated from your team. If you are going to split up it should first be discussed in a strategical manner. Its not fun being all alone not knowing where your team is
2)If your partner tells you to go and check out an open area and that he'll cover you from where he is, 9 out of 10 times he using you as bait. Its hard to tell sometimes, but your best bet is to evaluate the situation and do what you think would be best. Forget this tip if you truly trust the people your playing with.
3)If you see an opposing baller from a concealed location your at, unless your sure he's bound to see you fast, wait before you shoot him and see if other team mates will follow him, giving you more potential marks. Again, if you feel threatened by his presence then go for it and get him before he'll notice you.
4)Sometimes a good strategy to see if someone is an area your scouting is to throw a rock or another object into that area and see if you see any movement, or if the opposing player is really fidgetty, listen to any paintballs fired. Even if their is no reaction, still go in there with the precaution the expectation of another player waiting for you.
5)Make sure if your out, you shout it loud and clear, and sometimes if your playing in a big area its best to continue shouting it while returning to the safe zone with your hands up. Im saying this cause we were playing in a big area, and because of confusion I got marked three times when I was already out.
Hope those are somewhat helpful, I dont want new people getting noobed like I did XD
