Is it Fixable
Sry but i'm a big noob, and last nite i was taking apart my gun 2 oil it (Tippy 98 cust) and i cant get all the pieces 2 fit back in correctly. Lol, its pretty sad. I have all the pieces like the bolt and back spring, but they just wnt go back in. Is it possible 2 get them all back in. Any input on how stupid i am or if its possible 2 be used again will be good.

It is possable to fix. If you can't get it back together yourself, take it to a pb shop and they'll fix it, don't try and force it back together.

they should be more than happy to do that especially if you bought the gun from them, and ask the shop owner if he can teach you how to maintain your gun. some shop owners like to see noobs get into the sport

The pecies will not fit back together just by putting them in... u need to put all the stuff together next to the gun first. put the bolt, then the long spring with the small metal pole, then the black back peice. Now put the bolt so the O-ring on the front is inside the powertube. Now just push the black back peice while hold the bolt down so nothing flys out, and put in into the spot it goes at the back of the gun. Aslo use the manual u got with it to find the right spots for things. I was pretty uncomfortable taking mine apart when i first got it so practice alot and its very simple.

I've only used a Tippmann once and have never taken a paintball gun apart, and I still understand that.

2nd time i opened my tippmann i completly stripped it to polish the internals and only need the manual to figure out the the front sight spring thingy goes. But im pretty handy so maybe not everyone can do that.

tippy
within a week of having my tippman i stripped it down so i would understand how it worked. mind you i am technicly minded, so it was no prob for me. but just a tip for all the people out there who are new to the tippy. (i may be new here but i' not new to paintball). when you are stripping down your tippmann the absolute hardest part is keeping that damned front sight spring in place. the absolute best way to keep this from being a problem is simply to not even remove the ball carrier/loading arm. just a quick tip. if you have half a brain the rest of it is fairly simple and hard to screw up. whats the worst you can do? put the lubed sear pin in a diff hole, no big deal. just don't loose anything, or put the ball retainer in backwards woops did that ONCE.
