What is Rec Ball?

Rec ball is when you just go out to play for fun. Opposed to tournament ball where you play for money and such.

Not entirely. I am a tourney baller and I still go out to play for fun, yet I still am considered to play Tourney Ball. Rec ball is where you play for the fun of the sport, and not to win anything. It's just like going outside to play basketball with your neighbor; it's competative, but you aren't playing for a prize.
