ok i was wondering about the back ups, i might get a pistol as a back up in case of an emergency , run outta paint or need ot reload and cant do it fast enough. i was thinking baout buying a tippmann for a second gun, but what is good that is under 250$ for a tourney gun, new? i was thinking about the tippmann, andjust making it better with new barrels and stuff, would that be good? i know that tippmanns are really reliable and durable!

you won't see any better preformance out of the tippman than your spyder, so forget it for a tourney. and it doesn't have better or more upgrades then the spyder anyway. it's the opposite in fact. you won't find a better tourney gun that the one you have for 250. i'd buy an e-trigger for your spyder and an electronic hopper, and then save up about 5-600 for a used imp or bushy and nitro instead of co2.

You will never need an extra gun as long as you have a harness to hold pods of paint
