gun and upgrade guide to new players
well this is to all you players who havnt really got a good idea on what gun and ups to get.
what gun should i get if im new to paintball?
you would probably be most satisfied with a spyder or tippman 98 custom because their easy to maintain and repair. you could get one with an electro trigger whitch will allow you to shoot faster or you could get something like a TL-X spyder which isnt electro but it will still keep you in the game (that only applys to the spyder) for the tippman you might want to talk to someone until i get some info on it.
what upgrades should i get for it?
a new barrel, maybe like a progressive or some thing, the barrel will increase your accuracy and decrease the sound because of the porting.
an electro hopper like maybe a reloader or a revolution, the reloader will feed a new ball every time you fire but the revolution has an eye in it so when it cant see a ball it will load one. getting an electro hopper will make it so there are no jams.
maybe an hpa system instead of co2 because its more consistant, co2 has part liquid in it which is ok to run on a spyder but not on a cocker.
bolts are a nice upgrade. if you get lots of popped/broken/chopped paint then you might want to upgrade to a new one. there are lots of kinds of bolts to get into but im not going to get into spesifics.
what if im getting bored with the spyder?
well i would get a cocker like one of the wgp 03 or 04 cockers. cockers are better because there is almost no ball breaks and you can upgrade the ying-yang out of them and be really happy with it.
what should i upgrade on it?
well pretty much every thing i said up there but theres still some more
an eblade. the eblade will allow you to shoot how ever fast you can pull the trigger.
i wouldnt call getting hpa an upgrade for a cocker because you will need hpa other wise the liquid from the co2 would freeze the o-rings.
dont understand some of the words?
eblade: one of the best electronic trigger upgrades for an autococker that allows you to shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger.
porting: the porting in a barrel are the little holes in it that reduce noice and increase accuracy.
hopper: the egg shaped thing on the top of your gun hold your paint and loads it in to the chamber of the gun allowing you to shoot.
co2: the air that goes into your gun putting pressure on the ball
hpa: this is the same as co2 but its more consistant
some more things on upgrades
barrels: when your looking for a barrel always ask your proshop what would be a good acurate one. accuracy depends on paint to barrel match, meaning when you buy your paint look at the box and see if it says the size. when you buy your barrel ask the guy what size the bore is so then you can find paint to match the barrel bore. i wouldn't really care about it being quiet unless your playing woods ball.
if the gun you get is breaking your paintballs then bring it to your proshop, i would probably just buy a new bolt if that was happening.
pm me if you have any questions
I will be adding stuff now and then
ive edited, edited and edited again and i will keep on going if you have something to bring up
