He's talking about bounce like on a high-end gun.
No, Spyder Electras do not have bounce. Bounce is only on high-end electro guns, as when you pull the trigger, there are naturally hundreds of electric pulses to the board. Because of this, debounce was created. Debounce is necessary for any gun with bounce, as otherwise, it would attempt to shoot way too much. If your gun does not have debounce, you don't have bounce.

ok my gun doesnt have bounce and high end electro guns do. Debounce stops bounce. You still didnt explain what bounce is though. Sorry for the confusion, lol.

See the part about hundreds of electronic pulses to the board? That's what bounce is. Because of these pulses, the gun would try to fire that many times, without debounce. Debounce also comes in different degrees. You can set it on debounce 1 and up. On debounce 1, which is what tourney players use to cheat, the debounce is on the lowest setting, so there will still be some bounce. On higher debounce settings, there will be less and less bounce.

Yes, though, because of Debounce, it usually IS intentional, because players are supposed to use debounce.

You can actually set it below 1. For instance, my friend has debounce .25.

Basically their are two types of bounce, one is where the ball hits you but it does not break, meaning you are still in the game. The other type of bounce refers to when it shoots more times than you pull the trigger, this is different then ramping however. Ramping is when you shoot X amount of BPS it fires Y amount of times.

Wrong on pretty much everything.
First, there is TWO DIFFERENT kinds of bounce.
1- SWITCH bouncing, which is what you are referring to, and can happen ON ALL ELECTROS.
2- RECOIL bouncing, which happens when the gun has enough recoil to move the gun enough to "bounce" the trigger off our finger. ANY GUN CAN DO THIS. Even firearms!
3- A subset of RECOIL bouncing, is "Reactive Triggers". The purpose is to force a RECOIL bounce by pneumatically pushing the trigger FORWARD after every shot. ANY GUN can have this kind of trigger, but is only useful on mechs.
DEBOUNCE is just a method to fix a common electronics flaw. As you noted, when you pull the trigger, you are actually sending 3-4 "fire" signals, and the electronics need to filter out the "false" signal, and only allow the "real" one.
The most common method is to just assume the FIRST signal is real, and ignore any other signal for 1-10 microseconds.
ALL MODERN electronic paintball guns have a DEBOUNCE. THe main exception is early electros like Shockers, which as a result had a massive, and illegal bounce problem.
This brings in the current controversy: Some newer guns can adjust, or even turn off the DEBOUNCE filter. Effectively allowing the gun to fire MORE shots then were actually pulled by the trigger.
