Airsmiths

Just out of curiousity, what are airsmiths and what are they capable of doing? There is one at the paintball shop nearby, but I'm not sure exactly what he can do other than anti-siphon.

Cool okay they repair markers too. Do they do any custom work like mods, etc? I'm wondering if he could do the striker mod or T-Board eye installs. Not sure if it's something I can ask him. For my Spyder, that is. I'm looking what he can do on my Spyder Fenix.

Yes, airsmiths usually can do custom work. If it's just installing something, then he should be able to do it.

Airsmiths are the go-to guys of the paintball tech scene. Marker burping and you can;t figure out why - take it to the airsmith. Want to have new holes drilled and tapped for that custom drop - take it to the airsmith. Want to learn how to really take care of your marker... you guessed it -- talk to the airsmith.

Airsmiths are to paintball what gunsmiths are to firearms...

Airsmiths usually know how most of the guns function and are best at trouble shooting markers and doing minor fixes using replacement stock parts. Their knowlege may stretch out a bit into specialty upgrades like boards and installing eyes but that varies greatly from person to person. I suppose in a true sense of the word (airsmith) they would actually make the new or replacement parts or even the entire marker themselves. (Palmer, Mike from CCI) I think the word is thrown around too much, but then again what else would you call an anti-syphon installer or someone doing misc work.
