touchin the netting

ok, i was watching people playing and a few have there barrels touchin the net and others have there hands touchin the netting. so my question is why do they do that? and if like you are a front, mid, or back player do you have to have like a certian stance or whatever. help please im a newb in need.

They do it because its the rules. You must have a part of your gun touching the net untill they call game. That is how most tourneys are started. As for stance, whatever will help you get to your position the quickest.

That is the rule in some feilds and in most tourneys. It is so that all teams start off at the same point, giving neither of them an advantage off the break. Usually the front men have their hands touching the nets with their hands and the back man with their barrels touching the net. This is because front men are already in running stance and all the back men have to do is turn around thier gun and shoot.

Im a front on a team and I get my barrel on the net and get in the running position it helps me a bit. Good question though dude.

Fronts, most of the time will keep their launching foot on top of a backs foot so they can get off the break quicker. Its kinda like when sprinters put their feet on those metal things before they start a race.
