I just came to the UK to do my degree and want to get into paintballing. Do you guys know of any shops in the London area that I can go and have a look see at gear and weapons and such ?

Welcome to the sport. You might have better luck in the regionals. Also, pbnation.com (mods remove it if u want) would probably have a lot faster response to your question. You could try their regionals as well.
