Is there a difference between horizontal and vertical harnesses?

I used vertical and it's a pain in the ass

Yes... the way the pods fit in it... that's why they have different names.

horizontal is prolly easier to get out, because you can get to them from almost any position, whereas the vertical you have to spin around to get to them.

i have horiz, and i like it better than my friends vert one.

is this as in the way they are stacked if so i like them vertical where the pod is upside down and u gotta rip the velcro at the bottom and then the pod slides out. plus they look cooler.

u kno your goal in paintball is to impress the noobs and make them say wow i wish i was him.

Someone told me paintballs will not/ are less likely to break in your pods if you have a vertical harness. I do not know of any evidence supporting this, nor do I completely believe in it. Vertical harnesss' have a smaller profile. Without the pods sticking out on your sides they are behind you. With vertical harnesss' you also get into collapsable harnesses which collapse after every pod is taken out. These will hold more then most other harnesses.

You must be doing some crazy moving to have paint break, if the pod is full that is.

And, it is easier with the nicer Vert packs to get them out because they have the pod ejection system, like that found on Redz packs.
