ive been seing some posts/topics around PBnation and stuff (even posted by B$ is the dynasty forum) that if you have open bolt and good ball detents, you can use the biggest bore size and it would be as accurate as a good barrel/paint match... is this true? i can find a few links to these threads if yall need.

yeah ive heard that with a open bolt gun, paintsize doesnt matter...it will still be as accurate. some guy said he tested it with .692 and .687

i do know that to a point impulses do work that way. for most paint the .692 (gold) insert will work like a perfect match. but most paints i use are Draxxus, they fit my .684 insert but i would run the .689. if i used the .692 i could see some differences in accuratcy with the Draxxus paints.
