Excellerator 6.0's are very bad markers. Why? Because they chop alot, have no upgrades and are backed by a shady company that knows little about guns.
You could call the company and order a replacement bolt and put time into fixing your 6.0, or you could simply buy a Spyder. Electric spyders are nice for beginners or maybe a TES if you are more advancec. Do you have a job or a money source?

They are NOT bad markers. It's company has great support if you have a problem, and I already have a new bolt for it. I very VERY rarely chop paint. My hopper is a 12v revy and it works awesome with my gun. I am not a beginner, I just haven't played for a while and wanted to see how to make sure my gun is working fine.
The JT 6.0 also has plenty of upgrading possibilities, as it is a "spyder clone" I am not intirested in purchasing another marker, as I am completely satisfied with my JT.
I am sick of hearing people with no experiance with the gun rant on about how they suck and chop and so-on. If you have owned a JT then I can respect your opinion of the gun, but most people haven't owned one and have never used one and just assume they are bad guns.
I am not intirested in your opinion of the gun, I would just like to know how to clean it up to shoot again.

Break out the tools and the teflon tape.If you have not shot it in awhile it will probably leak in different places.Maybe check the o-rings really good. These guns are known for leaks that is one of the drawbacks to them.So hook up some air and listen.Since you have been around you aready know about the leaks. After couple of months is when they start leakingGoodluck

Just use it. If something happens, post and we'll help out.

Oil it up REAL good. The only gun that you dont have to oil barely at all is a tippy. The JT6.0 can chop bad. The trick is not to chop one, because if you chop one, then it starts chopping more until you stop, or the gun jams becuase of all the broken paint.

Just becuase you don't have to oil a tippmann doesn't mean you shouldn't. IT will last a lot longer (and thats pretty long)

Excellerator 6.0's are very bad markers.
|
neg. Its a spyder clone, and their even better than spyders. Just do the basic cleaning/oiling and it'll be good to go.

Thank you!! They are NOT bad markers and you're right they are spider clone. I'll get right on the cleaning and oiling, and I just got back from buying some paint. About to go get some c02. Thanks again

The biggest downside to a JT marker is the lack of aftermarket parts. Have you seen the foregrips?
Meh, yes, just put a few drops of oil in the ASSA before every tank to oil up your valve, and manually put a drop of oil on each o-ring on the bolt and striker.

All posts and rep points are, are numbers. Who could care less about either? The only reason I see for keeping Reputation Pts around is to punish those who do something bad, but don't deserve a warning. The positive rep is just to try and get people to make good posts, but shouldn't we all be doing that anyway? I do not want this to become a arguement on rep points so I will stop.
JT's do not make that bad of guns. If all Spyder clones function the same way and have about the same quality stock parts, what makes them different, besides the aftermarket parts available?

I do not think you should soley trust someone based on Posts, reputation or gun type, but I think it would be wise to at least listen to people who have a slight idea of what they are talking about.
If the gun works for you, that's terrific. Different people like different guns, but ask yourself; Do you really like the gun and how you feel with it? Usually when you own the gun you tend to develop an attachment to it, even if it does suck. People tend to defend their guns to the end just because they have it, and not because they disagree.
But if you like the gun and are an experienced player, then why would you honestly need help? It's okay if you are new, we all were new. Nobody at this forum knows everything about paintball, not even HP or Medic, we are all learning.
If you have any technical questions I will be happy to answer them, I just want to make sure you are committed to the JT 6.0, and are willing to purchase upgrades rather then saving for a new marker.

I love my JT 6.0. It fits all my expectations and beyond. It never chops and it's stock barrel is accurate enough beleive it or not (but I do intend to get a custom barrel for it soon) I am not a full newb, more like a temporary one. =]
I have not played this sport in about a year and just wanted to see if there was anything special to get it ready to shoot again (besides oiling ect.) I shot it earlier today after oiling and re-polishing the internals. It worked awesome (as usual) Thanks for the help and for the support.
