Gun Upkeep
Can some one tell me the measures at which i should go to keep my gun up to snuff. Right now all i have been doing is cleaning off the paint on teh outside and the inside barrel once (since only one ball has broke so far). I have a spyder TL-X (everything stock).

oil, lots of oil. lube up all of your internals with it after almost every day of playing, it will keep the gun sealed better, and all of your components from drying up and rubbing directly again eacher, which could hurt the gun.
also, remove the CO2 after you are done playing for the day, or buy an on/off.

I wash and clean the exterior of the gun and wipe the inside of the barrel immediatly when I get home. When I have time I take the grip and barrel off and wipe everything off the internals and bolt. Then I apply a light coating of ACI Airlube on the bolt and other internals and put it back together again. The manual should tell you how to clean it and take it apart, or talk to an airsmith. Take care of your gun and it will take care of you, as the saying goes.

u don't have to use a lube like "aci air lube" or "slick honey" or anything like that, unless you want to. good ole hopps no.9 gun oil works just about as good as anything, plus its cheaper and avaliable at wally world.

You need to get in the habit of tearing down the gun wiping it clean putting a small amount of oil on the orings and putting it back together. If the gun has a reg or a gauge DO NOT PUT OIL IN THE ASA!Also do not over oil it as that will attract dirt and dirt will cause wear.GO to the knigman website there are vid you can watch to tear the gun apart and clean it.It is very easy to do.Not keeping clean is asking for it to take a DUMP.
