Dont. Get money and purchase your own. If your old enough to ball, you can get your own marker.
Get money and if they still say no, then just wait. The time will come.

U could do what I did. My parents (who are always kind about this type of stuff (me spending mad amounts of cash that is)) paid about $100 of my gun package (ok it was b/c of good grades, but they do this type of thing often). I paid the rest, and now buy all my ups. I have a kinda part time job and am saving for nitro, etc now. A half decent spyder package can be found for $150 tops online. Like others have said take them to the field, show the barrel plugs (in staging area) and masks use (on field). That should pretty much sell them on the thing, also it helps if u've got a few friends trying to start to, that way u can go w/ them and ur parents know u'll do it more than once.

heres what i did,
i asked they said no i asked they said no. This lasted a week than i said what if i pay for everything then am i aloud to get one? NO.
***
After 9 months of asking twice a day, 3 powerpoint presenations, maybe 50 bar graphs and pie charts ,some posters and defions of the sport and the names of the marker parts, playing at least every month, a few legal documents from insurance companys showing that more people get hurt playing golf , hockey and bowling over paintball
***
once your done that photo copy an ad of the marker you want 145 times and tap those pictures around your house so your parents are constanly reminded of the idea of you getting a paintball marker, then you can order one
Thats all the crap i did to get mine and you have to make a few sacrafices like the fact you get grounded every week and weekend but it worth it. Only problem now is I get grounded everytime im caught on a paintball forum and say the word paintball but its all good

lol mom gives 10 a week for lunch.....spent that on lunch and brinch today.....anyway. Kyle 18 you realize you have -5 rep, i would only post when you have something really good to say. Anyway....My parents said it was ok when i was in 5th grade to get a gun...my older nieghbor had a cheap gun, i still have yet to figure out what it was....it was prolly from 97ish......and it was liek a knockout. Wierd. Anyway i didn't felt 100 for a gun and stuff was way too much, even tho i had the money..... Then about 2 years ago i started back at it again, and spent the money on a a5, waste of 380 bucks......coudl ahev bougth a angel jd fly god damnit. Anyway just put the money in and you will be ammazed how you buy parts..
Mostly i buy em with my paretns plastic, then hope they forget i didn't pay em....even tho i work and have more than enough money.....

Well you could get them to go to a field and have them watch some games.Tell them how it is a sport that you really want to play.LMaybe try to strike up a deal of doing extra work around the house.Let them know that there is a lot worse things out there that a teen could be doing(DRUGS/GANGS).Put it down on the christmas list for wants,LOL.Get them to take you to a field and get a rental gun so that you can play and see if you like it.Some people don't like being shot in the neck,it may not be for you.Let them know you would be willing to put your money in with them.See if you can get your dad into it with you.My nephew and I do the sport together. But I know a little something about being a parent because I am three over,LOL on that. The main thing is to be calm reason and do not throw a little tissy.Best of luck

the older imagines work great, but i really like the milling on the 2k4, it's all the same tho, the old ones work great, and they're a lot cheaper to get, and upkeep is very simple on these types of markers, so you wouldnt have much to worry about other than a little cleaning once and a while...

Here is my sugestion (didnt have to do it). Sort of what Kyle said, if you get lunch money, keep at least half of it.... thats a few exra bux. Get a job!!! Get some PB vid's, if they dont want you to play, they might not be willing to go and watch a game, so bring the game to them. MAKE SURE U WATCH THE VID FIRST. you dont want to show them a movie of the pro's throwing their guns around!
Ask them if they will help you out. Not nesisaraly go halves but some thing like, if I pay for the whole gun, you buy me a box of paint for my first game... or buy me a CO2 tank, what ever, be creative.
And last but not least, say... I have saved $150 for a PB gun, can I get one... if they say no, then reply, fine I will use the money for drugs and hookers!!! (Again be creative)
Good luck

The best solution is that you go playing with action figures again...

i showed my parents the field and let them see what its like to play... i then rented a gun and had my dad come out... he liked the game and saw that i loved it... later they bought me a gun... a tl plus and i blasted off from there.... if your parents still wount get you one... ask them if you can save up for one with your own money and definetly for a starter gun go spyder tl x.... the tl plus was a great gun... i learned how to care, clean, and take a paintball gun apart...
