C02 vs N2
I have heard that N2 is a lot better CO2. But how much better is it? I have a Spyder Imagine and want to know if it is worth $200 for a 88/4500 tank. I have read it is more consistant, but I really don't care if one round goes 15 fps faster than the previous. What I really want is all my shots to end up going the same directions. I have purchased a Smart part tear drop barrel and founds some paint that match good, but it is still not perfect. What will improve the guns accuracy the most?
Thank you,

HPA (N2 as you say) is always the most recommended upgrade (besides maybe barrel) It will be more consistant, but wont make you more "accurate" the only way you can get all your paint to go in the same general area is a good paint to barrel match, which you say you have. To your question is it worth the 200, yes. You will like your HPA much more than your CO2 and when you decide its time to get a new marker, you won't have to buy the HPA along with it. Along with HPA I suggest an electric hopper, and any other upgrades that can go onto the next marker you purchase.

HPA is an universal upggrade, meaning you can use it on all your markers to come. Since HPA tanks have regs they are more consistant, meaning your shots will go in the same area. Also, since CO2 can freeze and can enter the marker in a state of liquid, HPA is cleaner for your marker. You will expierence less cracked o-rings because of this.
Some high-end markers need HPA because they use soleniod-valves, which are usually run very close to their limit. If their where to be a velocity spike in the soleniod valves, which could be caused from CO2, your soleniod would be shot.
So basically if you buy a HPA tank now, you won't have to buy it in the future when you need it on a higher-end marker.

Co2 is cheaper, lighter, more effecient, better usability, and fewer maintenance.
HPA is more consistent, less temperature sensitive, less shoot-down and spikes.
HPA is not the best upgrade for everyone. For the typical, casual player who has a blowback and does not shoot 2,000 rounds on the weekend, then money is better spent elsewhere. He is not likely to notice ANY DIFFERENCE with HPA.
But, if you shoot high volumes of paint, or have a "high end" gun, or play in very cold weather, then you probobly WILL notice an improvement with HPA.
My point is that HPA has some negatives, which causes some new players regrets after shelling out the "big money".

Yeah, but you don't necessarily know why there selling it so cheap, it's probaly screwed up, the general saying in buying paintball gear is you get what you pay for, but if you want to buy a used one, go for it.

HPA- more consistent, won't freeze, good for higher end guns
co2- cheap, freeze in cold weather, good for lower end guns
I'd get HPA anyways jsut for when you decide to upgrade to a higher end gun then u'll already have the tank
