Posting ebay links are against the rules but yes its a good starter package. Dependable gun. I personally love the raven googles. You'll want to spend 20 bucks on the thermal lenses for them tho. And get a 20 oz tank. And yes the gun is semi auto. You want to get a better barrel tho if you start getting serious in the sport. But I wouldnt upgrade it any more than that tho cuz once you start craving a higher rate of fire you want to switch to an electro.

ooops sorry on the rule. Well I am going to play run around and shoot my wife and friends. We dont have a park that does paintball and me and some friends are just looking to get in the door and see if we like it. Don't want to go all out if we dont like it or no one else gets a gun.

Make sure they're wearing safety equipment (at the very least, goggles), and don't shot them from any closer than 10 feet. Otherwise it won't be fun and I guarantee they won't be excited about paintball.

Thanks we will, I know it will hurt, but we don't want to try any get someone hurt. I really want a sim-15, or a BT-16(AR-15 clones). I figured I should start with a basic gun first. I don't want to blow 300 plus and never use it.

Yeah but they are way over priced for what you get. Best bet is to just get some cheap paint flingers for the time being and then decide where you want to go from there.

if you really want teh AR15 look you can buy all kinds of stuff like that(hand guards, collppsable stock, sight rail etc..) for a Tippman98 Custom. you can get it downright scary looking! it will be pretyt expensive though, and not very praticl unless you're playing woodsball or scenario.

i would get a 98 custom. Its a good starter gun and its relativly cheap(about 140 new.) Its dependable and can take a beating as well
