Get a cpressed air tank instead, it is more reliable.

Compressed Air is a bad upgrade for most newbies.

For the ACTUAL QUESTION, all co2 tanks are pretty much the same. In fact, most ARE the same since companies like Pure Energy and Brass Eagle get there tanks from Catalina. CO2 tanks are unregulated, and all use the same CO2.

So, just worry about getting the size that suits you best.

Chrome-moly is heavier. Aluminum is lighter. Always get an aluminum tank.. no specific brand, tanks are tanks when it comes to co2.

True, if they get a higher end marker they will need or want HPA. But for a blowback HPA is not as efficient and is heavier and bigger than a CO2 tank that would provide the same number of shots. HP had a post on this already and there was more to it, but that was the main point that stuck with me.

Because when they first start out, they don't really need it and when they have it they won't see the difference at first and think it was a rip off. But they should save for like some upgrades first

All tanks are the same unless its HPA or a lp tank. CO2 tanks are the same except for size basiclly. So it doesnt matter what brand it is.
