D-Day 2006!!!!

Alright guys,

I was getting sick and tired of seeing people posting in the 2004 thread, so it’s time to make a new one. Basically I’m going to run over what happened last year, and the plans for getting together this year!

Last year was a successful meet up with a few guys. I can’t remember all the guys I ran into, but unforgiven with swimboy, armotechangel, and the Martha Stewart in prison were there! Lol. I know there were more of us there, we just didn’t meet up. Hopefully we’ll get the kinks worked out of it this year.

Also last year we planned on having a BBQ. For certain reasons that didn’t work out too well. I think we got the issues of that worked out, and this year we’re definitely having one. The basic plan behind it… going to BJ’s, buying a vast amount of meats, and not turning the grill off till they’re all cooked and gone! Might ask for like $5 or something to help cut the cost of the food, but that’s all. Remember, it’s all you can eat till it runs out, so don’t complain! The food there is pricey.

I’m not opposed to having a PBF camp site. The only problem there is where you guys will be parked in comparison to where we’ll be camped out. I myself will be with a small group of guys, most of which do not really care about PBF at all. Only one member is actually on PBF, just not active. (MikeBola) So let me know on that.

Paintballs are always expensive as hell. You have to sell your left nut if you buy paint alone. So please, if you want cheaper paint, contact me when you get there, and we’ll get the group discount. My group always grabs people when we get paint, so it really doesn’t matter to us. If you’re new to this though, you’ll get raped in extra costs.

Also check back on here before the event. Anyone that wants it, I will be posting my cell phone number for easy contact, and I suggest you do the same, unless you don’t want cheap food and to meet up with some faces behind the avatars! Also if you would, post what side you’re going to be on, just so we get a good idea of who’s going where.

Any questions please feel free to ask. I’ve gone every year for the past 4-5 years, and it’s always been a great experience! Hope to see you guys in July! Unless you’re allied, then I’ll see you in hell!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

hahahaha will bola be doing any special tricks with sausage at the bbq? lmao. ahh good stuff, i wish i could make it, sadly i dont live anywhere near, and ill be busy working on getting my ged and having a job by then. Sounds like a good time though.

i am coming but my dad wants to stay in a apartment for a night. are you aloud. germans all the way. hey if you give me your sell phone number i can meat up with you and get cheaper paint and stuff. see you there. it is on the 12 and 13 of july

there aren't any APARTMENTS in the middle of the poconos, 40 miles from a town. do you mean a hotel? If you can't camp out, you shouldn't go to d-day.
Also, it's CELL phone, as in CELLular, not sell. also, allowed, not aloud, and meet, not meat. also, it's AN apartment.

geez, kids should have to complete a test or two before they're allowed to use the internet!

I really really have to go to skirmish for d-day this year. For my own good. Sounds soo much fun and all I play really is indoor airball. It will be a nice change and a chance for me to use my autococker more.

As of now I'm definately going. But who knows what can come up lol.

www.skirmish.com, go to the scenario section medic. its in jim thorpe PA, just south of scraton. its 50 bucks pre-reg, plus like 77 for a case of paint.

for those going german, and you better all be....come by the main german camp. you'll know it, its gonna be the compound surrounded by orange snow fencing. my team, wulfpack, ragnorak, delta, and a couple other of the teams are gonna surround our camps, and we're calling it the Eagles Nest. swing on by, we'll be hard to miss.

That sounds expensive....72.00 for paint....and you cant bring your own. I wanted to go this year, but i dont think we'll be able to, kind of out of our price range. I'll try anyway, we got a bunch of friends that play too, so we can get a group discount type of thing.

It seems like alot of you are going German, is it like a tradition? cause that was how it was last time (i checked the 2004 post).

Well im going to try to be there. Maybe see you in July?

grr I'm frustrated. I've bene given $250 for a trip to anywhere. too bad that'll get me there and back with maybe a case of paint. I 'll keep ya'll potsred cuz if i can get at least one of my friends to travel with me we can split the traveling socst and also make it there w/o stopping (I live in indiana so it's a rather long drive)

headly can you post thier offical web site so i can check prices and whatnot? if i do go we'll definately be at teh barbq. nobody can resist a $5 barbque fro all you can eat.
