Game Structure: New format. The game format is designed to replay the actual Battle For Mt. Suribachi, a smaller battle that was fought in the campaign for Iwo Jima. The game is designed to keep players as true to the actual battle that was fought, a TRUE scenario. The game is also designed with the smaller number of players in mind. There will be both missions and flags in each stage of the game. There will be four 1.5hr stages of the game or mission segments.
Concept: We hope to establish this scenario as an annual event for teams and scenario players that would like to practice a scenario before the season kicks off. Low paint prices with low entry fees equals more fun and paint. We welcome teams to play on opposite sides they would normally play during the regular season. Team up with your enemies and have a great time learning from one another. Ambush Alpha will be splitting in half and playing on both sides. We believe we can learn a lot from each other actually seeing how each other plays on the other side. Remember the old days when you would just go out and have a great day of slinging paint at each other and then talk about it for hours. Thats what we hope to encourage, a fun day of practice. Although we like this concept it is not enforced, you may play how and with who you choose, JUST HAVE FUN. Thats a requirement.
