Being in a store would make it harder for kids to get ahold of, but easier for people 18-20 to get. Which is a better? I guess that's your opinion, but the way I see it, it benefits a lot more than everyone being able to get it almost whenever they want, only in a more "dangerous" manner.

You have to live in a state that medical marijuana is legal. You talk to a doctor that is licensed to prescribe it, and convince him that you need it for whatever... anxiety, glaucoma, etc.

It's not legal but laws are extremely lax. Like how somebody could get 10-20 years for growing here, they'd get a few months and probations--MAX.

I think I remember reading about some guy who had a pretty large grow operation, and he got a fine or something. I'm not sure they even confiscated his stuff, lol. Supposedly they're going to step up enforcement though...

You can only get fined and jailed if they can prove you plan on distributing, or so I heard.

Around here they can claim you plan on distributing by having more than some ridiculously small amount of marijuana on you... i'm tempted to guess a gram or something crazy.

In Ontario its essentially legal, and BC is pretty much the same. It either is or is one of the lowest priorities of law enforcement.

A new initiative was recently passed in Denver to make it law enforcements lowest priority.
