Yea, I guess in comparison to you, the IPCC is pretty damn stupid. They wouldn't know a thing about climate change.

All planets experience a few wobbles as they make their journey around the sun. Earth's wobbles are known as Milankovitch cycles and occur on time scales of between 20,000 and 100,000 years.
These fluctuations change the tilt of Earth's axis and its distance from the sun and are thought to be responsible for the waxing and waning of ice ages on Earth.
Mars and Earth wobble in different ways, and most scientists think it is pure coincidence that both planets are between ice ages right now.
"Mars has no [large] moon, which makes its wobbles much larger, and hence the swings in climate are greater too," Wilson said."

Isn't it funny how 2007 was supposed to be a terribly active hurricane season, the scientists told us we would have 10 katrinas, and it turned out to be one of the most mild hurricane seasons in a while.

Read some books by Patrick Michaels from the Cato Institute... ****ing moron republicans....
(For those of you who don't like to read, even prominent climatologists who didn't believe that humans caused global warming are starting to look at the evidence and change their mind)

There's probably just as many religious people on the left as there is on the right. Attempting to label the ENTIRE left political spectrum as Atheist is stupefying.
(Although I do here that more and more college students are claiming to be atheist or agnostic<--no ones perfect.)

I said atheist left. I didn't say that all of the left is atheist. I meant atheist people on the left side. I know a ton of people that are devout Christians and plan on voting for Clinton.

oh and to keep with the topic: global warming could very well be caused by natural problems, not man made. I think the biggest thing here is that it could possibly turn into a doomsday scenario that we literally have no control over whatsoever...and that scares people. So instead, it is our fault and we can fix it.

Dictionary.com is hardly a credible source.
Oxford English dictionary is probably the least contested source of word usages and meanings.

I think that's the people need to realize right now: we don't know for sure what is causing global warming, or what it's affects will be, so we just need to look at all possibilities and attempt to find a solution.

I think people need to realise that, yes, evidence suggests that increased carbon output due to human consumption of things like fossil fuels has slightly raised global temperatures, but I also think they need to realise is that we're coming out of a cold cycle (which is a natural process) and that global warming isn't as bad as anyone makes it out to be. We should also realise that what we ought to do is nothing (especially keep the gov't out of it), live with slight to moderately higher temperatures, and wait until the private sector figures out some cooler than **** technology to fix it.
Honestly people, put down Al Gore's book, it's just as bad as a Michael Moore documentary.

I agree. Global warming is a pretty big issue but it's not the end of the world.
How can you say that humans have not contributed to the CO2 levels in the atmosphere, which we all know, are greenhouse gases which causes warmer temperatures.
The earth goes through a natural process which causes it to warm and cool over a long period of time. For some reason, over the past 1000 or so years the process has been sped up a little bit.

It snowed yesterday in South Carolina for like 5 minutes. First time in a few years...then again, last week it got up to 70+ degrees.
