Dooms

For years there has been talk of creating a new top level domain (.com, .edu, .gov, ect) for porn and other questionable materials. Known as .xxx, many people feel this would be a great way to make the internet a better place.

So, what do you guys think? Do we need .xxx? Would it make things better or worse? What problems could it cause?

I think it's a good idea. You aren't limiting what people can post or infringing on their rights, but it allows people and children to avoid topics and sites that they find inappropriate.

Agreed. Not to mention if your looking for ANIME, you find a lot of porn... Nothing related to the ANIME your quite looking for. Or if you look up a celeb. you also get a lot of porn sites. Not to mention the sites that have viruses, I mean, it literally forces you to download the file. I would have to say its a good idea, it would be easier to sort out from what people think inappropriate. (you know what I mean)

i agree but at the same time i disagree. online porn is a legal business. you are taking those business and putting them in a separate corner. I don't know if that would be 100% legal, because then you are giving other businesses an unfair advantage. just my 2 cents.
