I used to be with the crowd that says everyone should vote but now I disagree.

I still think that if you support someone, you should get off your ass and vote for him or her. But if you don't like any of the candidates or if you don't know enough about them, then save yourself the gas money and stay home on election day. Not voting is a vote itself.

Yeah but abstention doesn't have a candiate... and in the end one of the two or 3 guys you don't like is going to get elected. So i usually vote for the guys i dislike the least.

Exactly. In this situation vote for the lesser of the two evils. McCain is that person in my opinion.

To some people, there is little difference between two candidates. Honestly, Clinton and Mccain are very close in my mind. I'll be voting for Mccain though because Obama is a joke of a candidate.

I'm curious as to why you think Obama is a joke. I don't want to get into a debate I'm just wondering your point of view.

He has no idea how the economy works. The guy can talk himself around any serious question without remotely answering it. He keeps repeating this message of "change" but his platform has no substance. What does he stand for? "Change" isn't good enough, you have to have real, doable ideas. He went to a racist church for 20 years and now acts like he had no idea what was going on in there. He calls himself different, but he's just another smooth-talking politician who will get nothing positive done.
