Alpha Paintball Field, PA
I was looking for a good field in my area, ( I live in Bethlehem) and found this new field. I went to skirmish once and liked it, but the prices were just too high. Well, this place is only $5 admission with your own equiptment and $75 for a case of paint. It used to be Global Paintball, but is now under new managemant. I can't wait to check it out. I am really happy because I've finally found a cheap field within a half and hour from my house. Has anyone here been there? If so, what did you think of it?

Oh good god, not Global Paintball!!
Sry man, i hated that place with a passion. $5 admission was nice, but $80 a case for paint is uncalled for. Especially when the paint chops in a tippmann... a tippmann!!!! WTF!!! To piss me off even more, they didn't do HPA fills, so i had to rent a 98c b/c i couldn't use my ULE RT on C02, and it was too cold to use C02 on my classic Mag.
I have a field closer to me that is so much better. Captain Carls! The guys that work there are cool, and they aren't out to rape your wallet. Since you're kinda far from there, i suggest going outlaw and doing Skirmish's scenario games. Though if you're into Speedball then totally ignore what i just said

Yes, global paintball did suck, but the new management supposedly changed things around and made the place much better. BTW, it's in Alburtis, PA (not sure which county.)

Seeing how Poco is 10 minutes from me, I bought a membership there and walk on for free and paint is 60 bucks a case. So that makes it worth it, 4 trips to the paintball field and my membership was paid for.
I miss speedball though, they have a single speedball field which is not that large, and they dont have people play on it until the end of the day. Capn Carls and Del Hobbies is where I get out the speed ball bug but now I am adding an hour at least to my drive.

I went to Alpha paintball today. I am happy to report that I had an awesome time, they do compressed air fills now, and the paint is well cared for draxxus blaze. Read my whole review, then check out the place for yourself. It's so much better than global sounds. http://www.pbreview.com/fields/revie...2&page=1#15685
