I was down at S.A. talking to the owner today. Apparently King County is forcing all paintball fields into commercial zoned areas which is going to end up eliminating all the woodsball fields unless someone can get creative and set up a makeshift jungle in a warehouse somewhere. So that explains why the fields are all disappearing.
Speedball is fun and all, but i did enjoy running around in the brush. I mean, that's the games roots right there!

i got wind of a woodsball field that's open in the summer on maple valley highway, just at the bottom of the hill from fairwood. I think there's one on whidbey island somewhere, which pretty much means you'll have the place to yourself.
S.A. has a field in Puyallup, but i'm not sure if it's speed or woodsball. haven't been there yet. the ref that was there on sunday kept saying he wanted to go down there since his team was there, so that tells me it's speedball.
It's goign to end up being that the only chance we're going to have to woodsball is befriend someone in sultan or gold bar that has a ton of land, set up bunkers and play til the paint and air runs out. Which is really ironic given the amount of forests here.

lol that guy is about the worst person to talk to about anything paintball realated, he makes stuff up when he doesnt know the answer, why do you think he never works on markers himself? he is good to talk to about buisness stuff though, the SA indoor field shut down cuz he wasnt making enoufgh money off it as he was hoping, and the woodsball field shut down because of the stupid people in my neighborhood, my neighborhood is attached to the back of where that field was, dumb people started complaining and it got shut down
as for their 1 remaining field, it has one airball field and 1 urban field, the urban field is pretty cool, it really levels the playing field in that theres lots of good places to hide for the rookies and little slots for them to shoot from so if the pros are making a run for it they can get hit just as easily, its really a unique experience.
i was talking to one of the techs yesterday, he was saying they are thinking about expanding that field, but nothing is for sure yet
me and my buddies go out to monroe and sultan to play woodsball. we have about 3 fields that we go to. the cops dont mind as long as we dont have real guns. no refs or field fees. if anyone wants to come out and play and have a good time just let me know. we could always use more people.

DO SOMETHING THEN!! Get together everyone who wants the fields to stay, present to counsel and so forth. But if that fails make a club/group save up and buy acre's for your own private field.
Thats a waist of money. Most fields that leave, leave everything behind. Me and my friends go out to fields that have been left or just go out into the woods. Its all about having fun at a low cost. Now im all for supporting your local field, hell i was at the final game at ESPB and it was great. Lots of people showed up everytime i was there and they couldnt keep it running, what makes you think anyone else can do better?? Anyway there all going away, but im still gonna enjoy myself. And again if anyone in the King or Snohomish county wants to have a good time shooting each other just let me know.

do a membership charge of 20 dollars for three months if you dont do that
Im trying to do that at my highschool in montana and a great GREAT sponser is to have is the military, The guards will prob be the one who will sponser you. Reason why is they make the alpha black and carry speedball blow up domes. Talk to your local recruiter. I Almost have my club set, for your club(if you decide to start one) ask specialops.com for sponsership, your local sports store if they have paintball makers. Ask if you could borrow there rentals for the day for the players who dont have markers. Also get shirts with your sponsers on the back. See if you could get discounts on paintballs. AND STRESS HOW TO BE SAFE WITH A MARKER!!!!BARREL PLUGS IS A MOST!!!
