I was just up in fairbanks about 3 weeks ago. It looked like there was tons of free land, which would be ideal for woodsball, except all the trees seemed way to skinny to provide sound cover.

You were seriously up here? Why? Yeah it is gay how skinny the trees are, not even big enough to hide a 6yr old, that's how small they are. And all the prickly bushes suck, I have a cut on me from a bpricly bush, from the left side of my lip all the way to right under my ear, it hurted and I accidentally scratched it during the night and it opened again. The snow is fun to play in cuzz it turns colours, and here the population is so small we find like dirt roads and paintball on our Four-wheeleres and snowmachines (ATV's/Quad's and Snowmobiles for you that don't know)

I came up the week before college started, our team (seattle pacific university) came up to run Cross Country against the nanooks. It really sucked running in the cold weather, the ground was permafrost and the course sucked, cause there was tire tracks that were frozen in place. I came up the first day it started snowing I think. At least we were told it wasn't suppose to snow, but when we got there it started to snow.

By the way it's crazy how rural everything is up there. Fairbanks for being the second biggest city looked like my smaller city hometown I used to live in.

I actually kinda liked the scenery and feel aside from everything being overpriced and cold.
