RPM will not run on CO2!
Belive it or not, its true.
The other day I was out playing with my RPM using C02. At about the time I was running out of the 1st 20 oz tank, My marker broke. It started blowing Co2 out the Barrel and Regulator. My guess is the o-ring in the regulator went and the Cup Seal went at about the same time.
Very annoyied, I called Odyessy Paintball in Texas for help. That is when I was told "The RPM was never designed to run on CO2." My mouth just about dropped to the floor! I grabbed my manual and read to him word for word what the MANUAL says!! "Air Source: The RPM will run on eaither compressed air or CO2." All he had to say to that was who every wrote that didn't work on designing the marker. Luckly I bought my marker from the Village, who is a very good company and said that they will give me store credit for it.
Just a WARNING to everyone, don't run you RPM on CO2!!!

I wouldn't run any gun on co2 if it could be avoided.
But yeah, that would piss me off. Sounds like thier service blows.

my promaster manuel says co2 can be used but then immediately says "but it is not recommended"
most people know that even airing up a promaster w/ co2 will kill it.
my point is: any gun with a noid shouldn't be even sitting near a co2 tank.

With an Anti-siphon tank, and a proper reg, ANY marker can run on co2 fine.

Actually I knew someone who ran co2 on a shocker for the longest time. I hope his tank was anti-siphoned, but he had a palmers reg and the gun ran fine.
Still not recommended though.

It can be done, but its stupid, and a horrible idea, that will quickly destroy your internals. Putting co2 through any electro-pneumatic gun is the equivilent of raping it.

Manufactures quote "The RPM was never designed to run on CO2."
But according to the mannual, it is set up right out of the box to have C02 on it. It says nothing about you need an Anti-siphon tank, or a new reg. Thats the warning i'm telling people.

You guys are retards. The only bad thing about the co2 used is that it is a liquod form. Getting liquod co2 into your marker is bad of course, but the gas form won't do any harm, or any noticeable harm for a LONG time.

wow you call us retards, and yet restate everything that has been said.
Sounds like you're the retard. Obviously if the co2 is in complete gas form it might not do any damage, but most of the time co2 doesnt come in complete gas.

Also the change in temperature helped to brake down the O-rings. Again, not meant to run on CO2

Yet that is why I posted "With an Anti-siphon tank, and a proper reg, ANY marker can run on co2 fine."
