hey yes just got a spyder pilot and i was wondering if u guys can give me ideas for upgrade.. i will appreciate ur help also is it a waste of money for a t-board let me asap thanx!!!

u should get a new barel first off.
then depending on if you play speed ball or need a fast gun you should get a rocking trigger and frame...then you should be set to play some ball

oh yeah and possible a electronic hopper such as an egg

Basically a spyder is a fairly decent marker that needs only a few upgrades to be a dependable marker.

I agree with the above poster that stock spyder barrels aren't the best -- J&J Ceramic is a good one that is cheap and decent..

I don't agree about the rocking trigger. If you want to play speedball, get any old electronic trigger capable of supporting 15-18 BPS. The rocking trigger can do that, but it is more of a gimick then anything. Some tournys will allow them, some won't. You can get a regular e-frame for under $50 used at most places.

As for a hopper, the egg is an ok choice, but a halo or FASTA are better choices. Also look at getting a HPA tank.

The stock board on the Pilot can actually get 20 bps, so a trigger frame/board is unneeded.

Halo, ReloaderB/B2, VLocity, etc are all high end hoppers, and you should really think about getting one. Even if you think you aren't going to upgrade, there's always a chance, and if you get a highend hopper, you know it's going to keep up

Clamping feedneck is a MUST! Get one with no holes, and you're going to be in business.

J&J Ceramics are great on the price/performance ratio, but there's a deal going on right now that's a bit better.
