Cool I bought a JT Excellerator 6.0 for $125. good deal?

i bought a jt excellerator 6.0 for $125. i havent been playing long. is this worth what i paid for it? would it be a good gun form me or is it even a good gun at all?
Also, could i compete in tourneys with this gun?

To answer your questions, it is a good deal for the gun but you would not be able to compete in tourneys with this.
Absolutely no chance.
I went to watch NPPL in San Diego and no one had a worse gun than an ION.
I understand that you want to play but you have to drop a 400-500$ investment on a gun and upgrades if you want even the slightest chance of survival.

Bad deal for the marker. Shoulda gone with a spyder Vs1 for that much money.

it'll hod up in a rookie tourney, but not much past that. they're decent markers though. One thing it would do is teach you how to play better without relying on the speed of your marker, which is a very good thing. I wouldn't say you'd be screwed, but it'd be a much steeper learning curve than if you had something nicer.

very good point made here.
I started with a spyder XLR and i am now playing semi pro for an ohio team called Phantom X. Im not trying to brag or anything but it is a good way to learn.
