Help to repair a leaking gun!

Hello I have a TACAMO type-68. Its an ak-47 replica. Very nice gun, however it has a very bad leak.

The air is leaking out of the bolt, when i cock the gun the leak is slower. When its uncocked the air just pours out.

I believe i need a new oring on the bolt. My trouble is, i have taken the gun all apart but I can seem to get the bolt to come out so i can inspect it. As you can see from the picture the piece that you pull back to cock it is welded to the bolt, which is inside the gun, how the heck would the bolt come out??

Anybody got ideas?

Hmmm.. Is there any way for the body to come apart? Screws of some sort?

i dont know the exact marker but it seems to be a stacked tube blowback, if it is or if it is a blowback of anykind (99% sure it is) then the problem will not be with any o-rings on the bolt. your cup seal that should be right below the bolt in the body has gone bad, the conditions all fit

no the body doesnt come apart.

a bad cup seal you say? not sure what that is. but i think you are right.
i can see the bolt through the opening and it has 1 oring on it, and its still intact.
could you tell me a little bit more about this cup seal? i pulled the parts out from below the bolt (the velocity adjustment thing unscrews) but i didnt notice any damage.

Oddly, that looks like a dressed up spyder compact. It's probably a blowback indeed. Look at the cupseal and the valve orings.

Even seemingly intact orings can be broken and still appear to be fine. Changing your orings once a year should be part of your routine anyway, so go ahead and do it while you're at it.

the cup seal will be in that lower tube but you will have to access it from the front of the marker, the valve assembly is towards the front there and that is where the cup seal is

so i managed to take the bolt out, just had to give that cocking pin a good yank.

i took a picture, nothing looks damaged.

btw, i read on another forum that this gun is basically a spyder clone on the inside.
MilSim Empire • View topic - Tacamo Type 68 II Leak?

i had a spyder repair kit so i replaced the cupseal.

but it is still leaking air!!! what to do now?

valve body o-ring is next, and make sure you did not put the valve in facing the wrong direction
