Well it's official, Armotech.com is now Ariakon.com on accorandance with their mandatory name change from the law suit. However, they're kicking off the new name and new site with lots of good news.
.) All "ariakon" guns now ship with High & Low velocity springs to deal with the velocity issues. Any current SIM-4 owners can contact "ariakon" and get a new low velocity spring shipped to them free of charge.
.) The new SIM-15 announced; A budget version of the SIM-4 which retails for only $270 (which means more like $230 to $250 with most dealers). The SIM-15 seems to be a stripped down SIM-4 (removes the flash suppressor, no removable feed port, cheaper bolt, etc.)
.) The new SIM-5 was announced; the new MP5 marker from Armotech. It uses the same (excellent in my opinion) internals as the SIM-4 and just changes the body to that of the more compact MP5. The SIM-5N & SIM-5 are available ATM, with the SIM-5N having the RIS system built into the hand guard. The SIM-5's also include a new quick release barrel (simply remove a pin to remove the barrel) for easy cleaning on the field. The new barrel system supposedly allows for removal, cleaning, & reattachment of a barrel in 5 seconds.
.) Several "new" accessories including different tac lights, the M16A1 & M16A2 barrel kits (previously only avaiable for the WG series), 4 varieties of triggers, a new SR15 rail in addition to the current two available, & a verticle R.I.S. grip (again previously only avaiable for the WG series)
