The one kit, questions
Ok, So My buddy has a Spyder Fenix, and I told him about the "One Kit".. and he seems very interested.. However, we have found limited information on this thing.. and what it will work on and/or not work on.
Will this work with the Fenix? Is this a job the average Joe can install himself? or is it better for a pro shop to do so?
Also, Is it really worth the $250? I'm not convinced... To go from a Imagine or Fenix.. and add the One kit.. I mean. would it REALLY be worth it?
Any info would be great.

Well, that answers one question.. but would it be worth putting on a Fenix? would I notice any difference?

electro-pneumatic, low pressure, less kick, faster, comes with a decent reg and drop if you dont already have one

Uh. Well...
The one kit would remove everything that is presently in his gun, apart from the bolt, so basically it wouldnt be a spyder anymore. If your paying $250, your paying about $100 too much. For $250, you could buy the dragun the one, which is the one kit factory installed on a dragun tes. The One kit isnt all it is cracked up to be and it is rediculously overpriced. I bought into the hype and I regretted it.

Well prior to owning it, I had a pro ts g3 (top end older model piranha) with the electronic frame. It had a regulator that was stuck at 600 psi and the board was capped around 14/second. But the reason I liked it more is because it felt sturdy and capable, it was comfortable in my hands. It never chopped. The One has a crappy lpr, it causes balls to jam up in the barrel (All American) really easily, the grip frame is extremely large and bulky. The drop forward is entirely inadaquate and it is very hard to fit any size tank onthere because the gauge doesnt clear very well. So basically you are buying a crappy circuit board that doesnt save settings and a ram for $180, the lpr, inline regulator, and bottomline set up are absolute crap.
