Well, the bigger problem would be the fact that the rotating barrels (if they did rotate), they are too small.
You cant have a normal size for the circle of barrels with those. The speed at the barrels would spin would cause the balls to distorte plus would cause some bad static with the balls.
Of the 2 mini-guns/chain-guns that I have seen, all the barrel grouping are like 8-10 barrels and the whole grouping of barrels are at least a foot across. That greatly cuts down on the speed/static/gravity issues.
Plus at 8K pounds, that is like $12,000!!! If you could contact the guy that made the mini-gun online, he only charges 6,000 for a custom made minigun. Though it dosent have the "feeder" as its all self contained. So you only get like 200-300 balls per load.
So the question is:
Spend $12,000 for a chaingun that holds 2 cases.
or
Spend $12,000 for 2 Mini-Guns that holds 200-300 rounds each??
So you and your buddy can go out into the woods and paint the forest red. OR better yet, play an unofficial speedball game. ehehehe "Hey look at my Timmy!" *snicker* "Look at my chaingun..." *evil grin* Can you say bunkered?
