actually if youve hold one it does not have the same body as a senti.. trust me, the only problem with the diadem I have see so far is that when shooting with the stock trigger like there is a 1% chance for it to get just stuck, so you have to take your other hand and push it back to where it was.

It just came out, i'm sure that problem is either fixed or will be i guess, and i always thought the bodys were the same, anyway. For all practical purposes the diadem will preform tip top.

one thing about the gun is the grip....AMAZING its like a magnet for your hand as your hand just PERFECTLY wraps around it.. I love the grip. The gun shoots pretty good but I noticed its not as consistant as they advertised and the reg/gauge is BUTT UGLY STOCK! but overall you get what you pay for with the exception of its outstand speed. Yet to chop once with it and ive shot about 20 cases through it

i thought the gun was fast enough, and i agree its not the sexiest thing, but if you call they will make yours how you want it.

well its just a cheaper form of a timmy thats kinda scary thinking of how cheap a regular timmy feels. it is cheaper no mater what anyone says. they don't have the same board/eye quality and its not the same gun. there is alot that goes into the gun besides looks and overall operation...without a great board and electronics system the gun is only slightly better than a spyder.

I saw nothing wrong with this gun when i fired it. The eye and eletronics are top quality if you ask me. Price isn't everything. For once there is a good deal in paintball. I don't think the diadem is overpriced, i think you get a little more than you pay for even.

I played with the senti when a kid from out of town brought it in. Im not saying its not a fine marker but I just think its not right to compare them to the big dog versions.

they are just as fast, just as reliable, just as accurate, and sometimes more air effcient than guns above a diadems price. the only thing higher end guns really got going over it is weight IMO, but sometimes a little bit heavier gun is better not worse.

128 have you shot one yet? because you are wrong. Yes you are right about the diadem (it weighs like 2 pounds), however it is not as air efficient nor as accurate over the chrono. They advertise a range of +2/-2 but it is alot more than that. And I noticed the Diadem is a little quick on eating away nitro.

You can get a new valve that should help. I thought it was fine and if you tune it i'm sure you can get 1+/-1 over the chrono like everything else, it takes a little work. I was comparing it to Matrixes, hardly air effcient stock. 1200 shots off an image bolt kit modified i do believe. My friend bought one, i've got a custom cocker on the way. so I'm what you might call a second hand user? dunno. Does a diadem come with a Low pressure valve pin too? over all i thought it was nice. I'm welcome to second opinions always, if i'm wrong i'm wrong, but hey! AM has the best customer support I've ever seen, so beat that.

Im just tired of people who try to sell off there gun as if its some kinda wonder pill. AND with this gun you don't need to feed or water your pets it does it for you. you get a few defensive owners or peope who wish they owned the gun and they start rambling. Im not meaning to bust down on am for there guns but they aren't some kind of super marker that just blazed tits all day long. The one gun I played with didn't feel very firm true it was light but so is the alias ect. the trig felt like crap in my opinion and it shot like the trigger was something like an old lcd angel. Now I didn't get to customize the trigger for myself at all but thats the feeling I got. It also seemed to love to wobble in consistancy. maybe it shoots -+2 but it also creaps up on you. so your set on 285 and your shooting away during a game with a nice compressed air tank that has fast enough recharge to keep up with you. So you eat up alot of air which really isn't a big deal because I can tap it off every game...BUT at the end of the game you might be shooting 305 or more or down to 270 or less. thats not cool at all. In alot of tournies I play in that = pretty big penalty points.

Also you can't as far as I know put a nxl setup or ramper into it. So really if your playing at a certain level thats tech that is nice to have. peace and love

Well, I'm just defending a product against people saying "just a timmy clone", because thats NOT an arguement. look at the NME, great gun IMO. The diadem isn't a wonder marker, its good for the price, If you want a real timmy, I'd say get one, if you can't afford one, this is a great alternative. I'd take a real timmy over most clones, but this really gets the job done and it is new so i expected to hear bad stories, they'll be tweaked out like all guns. IN the end, its all preference. This is by no means a wonder marker. So i agree bubba, but nobody anymore gives anything a chance.

I give alot of things a chance. look at the proto matrix. they started putting out a cheaper style of dm4 I at first was a little sceptical thinking you can't cut price and keep preformance well they did. The legacy players I talked to absolutely love there protos and that was just where i was talking to them not some deal where they needed to say it for sponsor. the guns are going out new for like 950 and they just shred faces.

theres alot of really nice guns coming out but trends are pushing prices higher instead of down. its good to see a good company like proto can put something new out at the price guys are selling there old ones for...If I wasn't looking to trade for a local dm4 I would be trying to get a proto.

everything he said is true pretty much. however, how often does it creap down on you?? usually for me it gets skyrocket high, so I would usually start it off at a very low fps, however off the break I get penalized from the amount of bounces i get.

yea I never really had it lowball down for me but the owner said it did sometimes. When I set me gun I want it to hold there if your at 2 points for every fps you are over the limit a gun like that that can go up to 320 without much trouble is like handing over the flag pull.

another problem with the diadem.. since not many people have them, there isn't going to be much help here on the foum (but you wont need it because AM Customer Service owns all) and you wont be able to find help about upgrades and such.

I wasn't even worried about the proto matrix being bad personally, knowing full well dye usually doesn't make crappy stuff and i expect the same from its offspring. I like products that are cheaper and preform better or the same its what its trying to "clone". I'm still cocker biased though. They might be a hunk of old junk to you, but I just love shooting them. Money pits though lol. Any way. Anyone else reading this thread and are thinking of about getting a diadem, I'd say either wait or just buy one already.
