1st North American Reball Training Center opening 2/25!
CenterFlag is introducing the first North American Reball Training Center in the Yorkville, IL on 2/25/05. This facility is dedicated to providing players with a private setting to practice drills. THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO "PLAY" PAINTBALL...ONLY TO RUN DRILLS

not exactly, this can attract teams from all over the US, i know i would drive a couple hours for a 4 hour practice with unlimited balls
this is seriously a huge thing, and more are definatly going to open once people see what a success it is stateside
and dont worry jewman, with all the powerhouse teams in cali, do you really no one is going to consider putting one up there?

You have to look for CONTACT in order to get the contact information like address, phone, etc...

I like the example on their site on how reballs feilds would be a great alternative to actual paintballs for school feilds.

My teamate and I were talking about this a few weeks ago when the announcement came up in CF's website.
I checked their website for more info last night when I made the manufacturer link page for our team's site, but the details are too vague to know anything for sure. I'm still surprised, though- I didn't think CenterFlag would be the one to do it.

little bit more south of 88 off or Rt. 47. Right after you go through downtown Yorkville across the River
We've already starting accepting reservations so if any of you guys want to run some drills, give us a call. We'll have some of the old pro Swarm guys, 665 Almost Evil, and Psycho Circus helping teams work on drills

the floors are concrete...no turf...the floor wont be good for sliding (unless you want to hurt yourself)...and your requiring players to buy knee/elbow pads to practice?? Snapshooting wont be the same
but on the upside...it sounds cool...

i dont see a problem witha concrete floor if your wearing decent knee and elbow pads, and of course they are required, otherwise it would be a safety concern and insurance would be higher if they didnt require the proper padding
and what do you mean snapshooting wont be the same? if by "the same" you mean it wont be as bad as it used to be, then yeah, it wont be the same becasue this place is going to improve skill without having to dish out half a paycheck on paint

ok...here's some info for you taken from our homepage: (PLEASE READ THE PART ABOUT SLIDING AND DIVING WHICH ADDRESSES YOUR CONCERN)
RTC field information:
RTC will be using airball bunkers on the field and we'll have targets that teams can use on the field for target practice, snap practice, sweet-spotting, etc. The floor is concrete and we require knee and elbow pads to play. We do not expect players to practice sliding or diving while running drills which is why we are not adding turf. If you would like to practice diving or sliding, we recommend you go to an outdoor facility or an indoor facility with some type of padding on the floor.
