My gun and half a case of paint got confiscated from my dorm room
yea i got my F4 illustrator confiscated lucky it wasnt my electric TL PLus, but one of my buddies threw a paintball at another one of my friends in the dormatory hallway, it splated on the wall i didnt see it. i come back to my room to see this letter to me taped to my dorm door.
James Mehrer,
You have been issued an Incident Report for vandalism in Trull with a paintball gun. Your name was disclosed by anonymous people, and because paintball guns are not allowed , i was obligated to enter your room and confiscate the gun and the bag of paintballs. Check your campus mailbox for a letter from Judicial Board within a couple of days. Contact the Office of Residence Life to get your paintball gun and paintballs back
it realy pisses me off when they just jump to conclussion im vandilizing when i had nothing to do with it. well i will state my side of the story infront of the judicial board at school

He has no legal issue on his hands. If he is not allowed to have paintball items on campus, they had every right to enter and take his paintball stuff. Next time you shouldnt allow your friends or roommates or whatever to touch your stuff.

That sucks, I can relate. Didn't bring my pb gun up to school for that very reason, and I especially am not going to bring it up because my roomate got his airsoft gun confiscated just for showing it to someone in our room, and the pa walked by just then and saw it. It was pretty gay.

Huey is right. That's why I don't let anyone screw around with my gear in my room, even though it's against the rules.
Especially after my snowboard got jacked out of my friend's truck a few weeks ago, I'm not putting my stuff in my car or anything. It's not worth it, plus five other guys on the floor have their markers (they all have VL's and Brass Eagles though, they have it for the image) in their rooms so if any of them rag on me I'm screwing them over in return.
But anyway yea, you shouldn't let other touch your stuff. In college people revert to stupider times.

Student housing on campus sucks.. I hated living in the dorms. I was much happier when I rented an old house near campus with the rest of the rugby team... When we moved out, it had to be burned down as it was deemed "inhospitable" and condemened. Good times.

Yeah, you definatly shouldnt have left anything out for friends to get into it. Im supposed to put my gun and tank and such in a locker in the campus security office at teh college im going to, but im just going to buy a proto gear bag and buy a small padlock and keep everything save and secure until practice time.

yeah, When i was back in high school, i was enrolled in Military school, and they had rules saying no student is to have any sort of weapon, firearm, or paintball marker in the dorms with them at anytime. So they kept my marker in the PB range they had on campus, now that my parents let me come back, back to good ol' under the bed...

I took my gun to school today. No problems at all. Just don't tell anyone or show anyone and it's all good.

Hey man, at least the last line of the letter says you can get them back. I wouldn't have expected that.
Barber's right too. If no one knows it's there, they can't get you in trouble for it. And if you don't tell anyone about it and keep it locked up and all that then there won't be any problems.
I keep all my stuff in my room and even though we're supposed to lock all our club's gear in a room they gave us, I have no problems. My RA lives next door to me and everything.
