Has anybody looked at the new issue of facefull, the february/march one?
It's nice, is has 5 different categorys of markers:
1.) Entry Level Mechanical
2.) Entry Level Electronic
3.) Mid Level Mechanical
4.) Mid Level Electronic
5.) High-End

on these pages it tells you all the specs of the markers and the magazines overall ratings of them. Then after all the markers, they have, hoppers, harnesses, jerseys, and pants. its a nice issue of the magazine.

its a waste of a facefull... its just a big product review. no interesting articles.

I got it. Pretty nice. It has a review for almost every gun/hopper/tank/barrel/ect, with little tables and keys with attribute stats, and it even has a few in depth reviews on a few guns like the Ego and the '05 angel (Think that was the one.)

That sounds nice - but why not just research independent reviews anyway? You get a bigger base of comparison.

Like - I am into car and computer mags, and I learned early on that issues cheesed up with big reviews and stats look great but often suck to read because - all you do is scan the stats. I know we all start out reading the editorial paragraphs, but eventually you get tired and just peek the stats and before you know it the issue is useless.

yeah, i was really dissapointed

not only was there a serious lack of awsome articles and cool pictures, but the actual reviews sucks

its painfully obvious that the facefull staff threw this stuff together off the top of their heads and had no one edit it

i spotted several obvious mistakes on certian gun's funtions and stuff like that

i remember last years reviews were the same

PB2X is where its at. The new one has a full history of the sport. Definatley worht a read.

pb2x is ok sometimes, its become more of a noobish magazine. PGI and Facefull is where its at

wher i get my mags they have 4 different ones (for paintball) Paintball Games International, Facefull, Action Pursuit Games, and PB2X...i get PGI every month and occasionally PB2X and Action Pursuit Games...never facefull...it costs too much

Defiantly. PGI and Facefull are the shiz. I also sometimes get splat...they got some good pics and ok articles.

^but their reviews sucked. They rated the tear drop over a freak accuracy wise. (accuracy doesn't even really apply to paintball anyway)

I HATE A.P.G. with a passion... and Pb2x isn't much better. I <3 Splat magasine tho- they actually have helpful aritlces written by guys from the ironmen and others.

I've seen many articles in APG that are pointless. For instance, there was a 3 page article written by a guy who had never played before. He said, 'i've never played before, but I just spent $300 on gear..."
this completely warps the image of how to get into the sport. (i.e. PLAYING)

Facefull is awsome (they have awsome pics of euro teams like Joy and the TonTons)
and Splat is my favorite

the only downside to PGI, is that half the articles in the magainzes are online at www.p8ntballer.com (they are the exact same article)... so when buying PGI, youre getting alot of free material thats available online, but some of the featured events and articles can only be found there, plus they have good photography

as for facefull, you just cant beat it

i like APG for 5 bucks with alot of player storys and articles its worth it plus my mom freaked last time when i got a 10 dollar mag. (face full) and at school a teacher thought it was a ****o so i got in trouble lol

not funny.

The older facefulls were better. pb2x is alrite just small or maybe it seems small compared to facefull. Most articles in APG are for new players.

Too bad i'm not subscribed, but i'd read it every now and then. I'm gonna re-subscribe shortly.
