Of course someone has to start bashing on the Ion, and the first thing that comes out of peoples mouths is that its plastic, well guess what that plastic is harder to damage then your metal guns and ill just buy a new shell when it gets damaged. It may not look as good in your opinion but hey the hundreds in savings are worth a few people not liking the looks.

WGP did sue companies. When Glenn Palmer relized this he sent a letter to Bud. Here is the letter.
As Nick said, Kingman did sue PMI.
It is buisness. It is a shame AKA had to stop making the Viking and Excalibur and AGD had to stop making the X-Mag and E-Mag. It is sad to see the prices of other markers rise because of them. What are we to do about it? Boycotting their buisness won't work because the ION is a great marker for the price, the Shocker is a decent marker, and the Max-Flow tank if amazing as well. Why miss out on good gear because of buisness ethics?

Maybe there is a conspiracy, but most likely there isn't, just like the new DMC, everyone tries to make it sound like they have answers, just to get some e-attention....

Ok, let me clear up the wholw blow back part...
Kingman OWNS the patent to the Stacked tube blow back design POS gun. Kingman gets paid royalties for those guns. so every gun made by 32 Degrees abd what not, a certain % goes to kingman.
As for dye... I say let them sue SP's, i wana see if someone goes Anti-Dye and ****. lol

Let me clear something up. Your wrong.
The Kingman Spyder was an EXACT RIPOFF of the ICD Promaster, that came out 2 years before. In fact, your Spyder COULD USE PROMASTER PARTS.
The PROMASTER itself was loosely based on the Sheridan VM68, which came out in 1990.
Sheridan decided NOT TO PATENT to the VM68 to encourage aftermarket development.
So, THERE ARE NO STACKED TUBE BLOWBACK PATENTS.
This is why they are so cheap. NO ROYALTIES.
Kingman sued PMI for TRADEMARK reasons, not patents. Kingman TRADEMARKED the idea of putting "STUPID, USELESS CRAP" onto a gun. PMI copied that idea and Kingman sued. A judge through the case out as having no merit.

go HP go HP go. Do you think that the blazer is better than the autococker? (just wondering, you have lots of backround...)
sorry for posting out of subject stuff. So i'll post something on topic.
Dye will probably win good or lose horribly in this case.

go HP? Who the heck is HP? do you mean SP? Do you all think if someone patents the stacked tube blowback the price of them will go up, and for every sale of a blowback the company that patented it gets a % of the cashola?

read hp's post again...there are no patents on stacked tube blowbacks. spyders are stacked tube blowbacks. therefore spyder can be cloned because there are no patents on their guns.
