Installing a new bolt...

Hey guys,

I have never installed a new bolt on a gun before and I recently just bought one for one of my guns. I am just wdonering howhard or easy it would be to install one, and if I can do it I would rather do that than have to pay someone for it.

Thanks

umm...... its very very ver very very very easy.

WHat gun do you have?

More than likely you just have to pull a pin out, take the bolt out. And put the new bolt in. then put the pin in. You can do it in less than 10 seconds.

It would help if you told us what marker it is. Then, the mods can not only move this to the proper forum but we could help you. Some markers have a pull-pin setup, meaning that you pull a pin and your bolt is ready to come out. Other markers (Matrix, Shocker, ION, etc) are different because their isn't a pull pin.

I do bolt installs for 10 bucks + shipping. Contact me.

Nah I'm JK.

The bolt is probably the easiest part of the gun to install. Most likely you just pull the pin out and take the old one out. Unless its a trix, shocker or freestyle. Those are all a little more complicated.

ya you realy need to learn how to take your gun apart. its crucial. you dont want all your o-rigs to pop and our internals to get scratched up. it sounds like your new to the sport so im guessing you have a basic blowback. in most blowbacks you first take out your the metal piece sticking out of bolt that you usually cock the gun with. then on the side of the gun there will be a stubby metal thing with a small whole in it. in the whole theres a clip that keeps the metal stubby thing (aka the pull pin) in place. take out the clip and push out the pull pin but be careful and dont have it aimed towards your face because the spring and back of the gun will shoot out. it will be best if you put your hand over it and ease out the parts. what will come out is the back of the gun, a spring with a rod inside of it. next slide bolt (the cilinder on top) and the ran (the bigger cilinder on the bottom). a rubber washer will come out but keep that aside. replace your bolt with your new one and oil them both with paintball gun oil. connect them back together and slide them into the gun. if you have a electric blowback you sometimes have to turn it on and fire while pushing the ram and bolt in. next slide the rubber washer back in and place the spring back were it was and the rod back inside the spring, push it shut and hold it there put the pull pin and clip back in. and put your cocking knob in. wow since i just wrote all that you better have a blowback
